Throne of Grace was one of the first four parishes established in Canada. It was also a Zonal Headquarter (Zone 15, now ON 1 and 2) under the leadership of Pastor Bowo.

Throne of Grace Parish was started as a Bible Study Group in October 1999 by Pastors Bowo and Moji Olateru-Olagbegi in Windsor Ontario, in accordance with a divine mandate.
By November of 28th 1999, an inaugural Sunday service was held to launch “Throne of Grace” as a parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at the McKenzie hall on the west side of Windsor.

In June 2001, the General Overseer of RCCG worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, visited the group and formally dedicated the parish in a glorious dedication service.

In January 2004, the church purchased, renovated and eventually moved into her own building on 1767 Northway Avenue Windsor. Pastor Adeboye and Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye visited this new location as well in the same year and declared it a “Miracle center”×

Throne of Grace has been involved in the community activities from the onset and has partnered with Senior Citizens centre, retirement homes, the Multi-cultural centre, the University of Windsor, amongst many others to make an impact in the society.

To God’s glory, the church has been growing in leaps and bounds and has been a major source of blessing to its members and the Windsor community.
